Cyanotype + Book Binding

Learn the simple art of sun printing and book binding with Andy from the DIY Craft Bar and Garyth Bevan fom Garyth Bevan Photography... Garyth is also a Visual Communicator and Photography lecturer at the Stellenbosch Academy.

Cyanotype, is a process using a combination of two chemicals, which are combined in equal parts. The  result gives a striking image against a background of cyan / blue. This process can be used to make clothes, wall art, decor, scarves and so many more possibilities.

Book binding: Learn how to make your very own A5 journal using Coptic Stitch. We will then add your cyanotype prints to personalise it. You can choose to customise your journal to be a diary or a generic journal

You have the option of your working pages to be: Blank, bullet journal pages (dot grid), lined or pre-designed templates.
