Polaroid Emulsion Lift Workshop

Join Cleo, a visual artist living and working in Cape Town. She graduated with a BA (Fine Art) from Michaelis School of Fine Art in 2014 and recently completed her Masters in Visual Art through UNISA.

Attendees will learn about the alternative photographic process of Polaroid Emulsion Lift and transform digital images from their cellphones into ethereal, tangible, artistic works of art.

In the workshop, we'll be using a Polaroid Lab to print digital images from your cell phone as old-school Polaroid snaps. We will then learn how to access the delicate emulsion layer upon which all Polaroid images are captured and transfer these onto fine art paper.

Just bring yourself, and some cool images on your cell phone.  

Have Polaroids of your own? Bring them along! We can work with them.
