About the Event
Learn how to create beautiful pieces of art using a punch needle, guided by the very talented Nathalia Serpa, a Brazillian textile artist, who has participated in a few exhibitions.
Colours, shapes and textures of the natural world are what inspire her work. As a graduate in biology and behavioural science, her eyes are always searching for the nuances and details of daily life, landscapes, plants, humans and other animals. In contrast to her background of scientific rigidity, textile art has become her principal vehicle to express and communicate, in a sensitive way, the complexity of nature and the connection between all creatures.
Once you have learnt the art of punch needling, you will be able to create scatter cushions, clothing, furniture, wall art and so much more.
